Tenant/Subtenant Dispute

We represented a large corporate tenant against claims by the owner of the property for significant damage caused by a subtenant. The subtenant had neglected to keep the property in good repair and made substantial unauthorized alterations to the building, including ripping out walls. The landlord’s claim was settled for a fraction of the original demand. Our client sued the subtenant and successfully recovered all of the damages paid to the landlord, plus some unpaid rent.
