1/4/2013 - Members of Verrill Dana’s Boston office collected more than 150 assorted arts and craft supplies and a variety of children's books to donate to Horizons for Homeless Children. Through this donation, Verrill Dana hopes that many children living in shelters are given the opportunity to play, learn and to just be kids.
This effort was a part of Verrill Dana’s “150 Project,” an initiative devised to commemorate the firm’s 150th anniversary. Throughout the year, Verrill Dana facilitated and recognized the donation of time, money or property — in increments of 150 — by attorneys and staff. Teams from offices around New England assembled to create numerous “150” initiatives to benefit a range of causes.
