Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program

Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program

The Maine Supreme Judicial Court created the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program to shed light on the importance of pro bono legal services, and to encourage attorneys to provide their services to low-income Maine citizens. The program honors attorneys who have completed 50 or more hours of pro bono work in Maine in the past year. Verrill Dana is proud to have 8 "Katahdin Counsel" honorees for 2017.

The Verrill Dana attorneys who earned Katahdin Counsel status in 2017 are:

Tawny L. Alvarez
James G. Goggin
Michael G. Kebede
Hale H. Melnick
Christopher T. Monroe
Misti D. Munster
Stephen B. Segal
Rachel M. Wertheimer
