Biography

Frank advises portfolio and operating companies, investment funds, and startups in a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital. 
 
Frank leverages his experience working closely with businesses and investors as outside general counsel to offer business-conscious, practical legal advice. In particular, Frank prioritizes understanding the fundamentals of each client’s business and tailors his legal services accordingly to help clients achieve their goals. 
 
Prior to joining Verrill Dana, Frank practiced in New York City where he counseled high growth technology companies in all stages of maturity, from formation to exit, as well as angel investors and venture capital funds in early to mid-stage financing. In addition to helping clients navigate their day-to-day legal and business matters, Frank has extensive experience negotiating and advising clients on priced equity transactions (including Series Seed and Series A), as well as convertible notes and SAFEs. 
 
Frank is an avid golfer and sports fan, who loves the Red Sox and UCONN Huskies. He resides in Stamford with his wife, Olivia, and the two enjoy cooking and traveling in their free time.
