Debbie is a transactional lawyer in the business and health care fields. She has been involved with mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures, senior and mezzanine financing, and, with respect to health care, regulatory issues associated with transactions. Debbie’s strength has been to be an integral part of teams helping clients meet business objectives.

Debbie has handled the purchase and sale of companies throughout the United States and Canada, such as the acquisition and/or sale of a Missouri-based manufacturer of trailers used in the trucking industry; a pneumatics tool company located in California; a southern California motor oil distribution company; a Tennessee manufacturer of metal racks and parts; a drawn tube aluminum extrusion plant in North Carolina; and a developer of software for the automotive parts industry in New Jersey.

In the health care field, she has been involved in a variety of transactions such as the acquisition of a number of physician practice groups on behalf of a regional hospital; assisting a not-for profit hospital with the structure and negotiation of a clinical integration and joint venture to form and develop a primary care institute; representing a hospital in connection with an alliance with six other hospitals and affiliated PHOs to create a value-based health care network for the purpose of eventual clinical integration; and structuring and negotiating the terms of a joint venture by a hospital with an industry leader owning ambulatory surgical centers.

Debbie previously worked for ten years with the New York City law firm Windels, Marx, Lane & Mittendorf, and before that at Cummings & Lockwood in Stamford.

Debbie enjoys outdoor activities, including skiing, hiking, biking and walking her very active golden retriever. Debbie has two college-aged children and lives in Weston, Connecticut.
