BOSTON - Health Care Associate Attorney

Verrill Dana is seeking a health care associate with at a minimum of 2 years of experience to join its Chambers-ranked, Boston health care practice group. The firm's health care practice group serves a broad range of clients, including health care systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, physician-hospital organizations, managed care organizations, long term care providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and other prominent health care entities. It includes a subgroup of lawyers with particular expertise on research (clinical and biomedical) and life sciences law who work on behalf of universities, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and nonprofit research institutions of all types. Our practitioners work closely together across Verrill Dana’s Boston, Portland (Maine), and Westport (Connecticut) offices.

Applicants must have top academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and high personal standards of performance. Preferred candidates will have significant experience in diverse areas of health care practice, including, for example, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, HIPAA, fraud and abuse law, physician contracting, and managed care. Knowledge of research law (human subjects protection, clinical trials contracting, biospecimen and data repositories, federal grant systems, FDA regulatory compliance, etc.) is a plus. Applicants should be admitted to practice in Massachusetts or prepared to seek admission.
