MassHealth Continues to Recoup Medicaid Funds

MassHealth's plans to recoup Medicaid funds on behalf of patients has been worked on for 18 years, but has been denied yet again. A judge weighing in on the Massachusetts Division of Medical Assistance asserts that the division has yet to do something since the Supreme Judicial Court ruling in 2003. Massachusetts Lawyers Weeklypublished an article, "MassHealth's plan to recoup Medicaid funds denied again," in which they quoted health care attorney Gary Rosenberg, "I am surprised that, after 18 years, MassHealth continues to go down this road."
